What Are The Benefits of Choosing Solar?

Save Money

Lower Your Bill and Save Money!

Lower your electric bill or eliminate it altogether! As of January 1st, 2019, the average PG&E bill that Californians received was $167.02, with many paying over $150. Solar panels allow you to utilize the sun’s energy instead of paying your local utility company for electricity, leading to lower electric bills. In some cases, your solar panels will actually give added energy back to the grid. At times, you may even receive a credit from your local utility company. As a homeowner, electricity costs can make up a large portion of your annual expenses. With a solar panel system, you’ll generate free power for your system’s entire lifecycle. Solar panels aren’t an expense. They’re one of the best ways to invest, with returns rivaling those of more traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Savings are immediate! And thanks to substantial electricity bill savings, solar paired with other energy efficient upgrades can max your solar savings.

Save Money

Increased Value

Multiple studies have found that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher property value and sell more quickly than non-solar homes. Due to progression in the solar industry, solar financing is now 100% transferrable at sale of home. Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into consideration as they value homes at the time of a sale. As homebuyers become more educated about solar, demand for properties equipped with solar panel systems will continue to grow.

Solar Future

The sun is a near infinite source of energy and a key component of achieving energy independence in the United States. By increasing our capacity to generate electricity from the sun, we can also insulate our country from price fluctuations in global energy markets.

Save Energy

There’s no denying that as a society, we use more energy than our environment can afford to give. Utilizing solar energy means you’ll be reducing your carbon footprint and giving back excess energy to the grid all while helping reduce the overall consumption of fossil fuel in your community.

We Offer 100% Financing!

At SIG solar we believe that the cost of our equipment should never impact your ability to save! That is why we offer multiple financing options for all of our clients so that everyone has the opportunity to save big by going SIG Solar with 0 out of pocket.

Starting 2020, you can also get a 26% tax credit!!

SIG is a true father-son operation with Stephen Kerr and his sons Paul, Jared, and Aaron overseeing every part of the solar process. Solar Installation Group, Inc. started as a 3rd party installation company for solar sales companies across the US in 2013 doing residential, commercial, and agricultural solar projects.

We operate under our contractor’s license which has been active for over 40 years. After seeing what was lacking on the customer service side of the solar industry, and looking to bring the knowledge of sustainable energy back home to their local community, the Kerr family made the commitment to create a local, family-based company that has since developed into both a solar sales and installation company. SIG Solar prides itself on customer service, family values and bettering the community we live in.

We have been so overwhelmed by the love and support from our local communities, that it has only furthered our drive and mission to bring solar to every roof in California; including yours!

SIG Solar’s Office Team consists of Melissa Kerr, Judith Hoot, Tiffany Kerr and Ashley Linder.

These ladies take care of all the behind the scene workings that range from permitting SIG jobs, interconnection, account management, scheduling, customer service and much more.
